This last trip, we were four with luggage, so upgraded to the Jeep Wrangler. Car was well maintained and ran like a dream. The staff made rental and drop off easy and efficient, not like other companies, so I have no hesitation in recommending!


I hired a car from them on two separate occasions in the 5 days we were in Santorini. And both times the car and the staff, particularly Michael and Dimitris, were exceptional. We arrived in Santorini later than we expected due to flight delays and the car that we booked from another company, Sixt, was annoyingly given away despite the reassurance that our reservation would be held up to 3 hours after pick up time. My wife and I needed a car and went to the kiosk right beside Sixt, which turned out to be Advance. Michael, the Avance agent, literally saved our holiday buy providing us with a car at an excellent price and more importantly, in the middle of the night. All with a great smile and the warm hospitality that Greeks are known for. This made my wife and I feel comfortable and secure during our first eventful day in a foreign destination. Thank you Michael. On the second time, it was Dimitris who helped us with another great car and great value, a convertible Smart car. This turned out to be one of the best ways to explore the whole island of Santorini. Who wouldn’t want to drive around Santorini in a convertible! Thank you Dimitris. Great job Avance! Amazing experience! Once we landed in Santorini we knew we needed to rent a car, so we walked to the Avance kiosk where Demetri was there, he was very helpful and super nice, also one of the cheaper prices out of all the other car places. Would definently recommend you renting a car from here!

Smooth process from arrival at the terminal to collection at the station just outside - friendly staff. The procedure in the event of damage was explained to us and nothing additional was asked of us. The return was just as easy and quick as it was busy. Our car was a fiat panda with 2000km - like new. Very robust car on these potholed roads. :)

We arrived at the airport after our initial car rental let us down. With no forewarning Avance got us a car big enough for 5 people, and all our luggage. They were cheaper than the competition and the admin was finished in minutes. We didn’t have to pay a deposit. THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! Deposits and extra fees for insurance means the company itself doesn’t hold decent insurance so they’re passing that cost and risk onto their customers. The fees were very reasonable, nothing added for an extra driver, and we got unlimited KMs as standard. Finally, the staff were amazing to 5 stressed out travellers.
